Even though the NCAA tounament is on everyones mind, it also cause a great deal of stress. Worrying about whether your team is going to win or lose is alot of fun, but also a very stressful ordeal when actually watching it.

Its like watching the results of american idol, while Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell fight. It doesn’t matter what the stresser is, we are still experiencing undue stress, and it’s a daily thing, always the drama. Try to take a little time everyday to wind down and get hold on your frayed nerves and enjoy life. Stress is one of the leading factors in stroke and heart attack, there are many more which I have touched on in many of my post, bad diet, smoking, high cholesterol. My last article was on Burt Reynolds. When we think of Burt Reynolds we think of Hollywood movie star, Smokey and the Bandit, running down the road in the black firebird, nothing gonna slow him down.

Something finally slowed him down, age creeps up on us all. The run wide open life style we lead could shorten our life considerably. I look at the younger photo’s of Burt and think that man will never look old, but after years of stress, and I’m sure a can have anything he wants attitude, he has eaten many things that he didn’t really need to, just like all of us. He’s just a man, God gives us one life, we have to grab it and hold on to it. Sometimes that means taking care of the temple.  Learn to delegate your stress, If your wondering what that means, leave it till tomorrow if it’s to much today. Stop putting yourself on a deadline and not starting your task till the day before it’s ready. We are all guilty of that. Take better care of yourself.

If you have a desire for sugar you are a prime candidate to become diabetic as you get older, If your one of the lucky person who was not born with diabetes, keep it that way. When lessening the amount of sugar and sugar producing foods, you will also reduce calories and lessen your chances of gaining unwanted pounds. It seems the internet is full of rumors that movie star Burt Reynolds has died. according to his manager this is a hoax, but he is recovering in Florida after a quintuple bypass surgery last week. If you don’t know what a quintuple bypass is it means they have done a bypass of 5  coronary arteries in his heart. To have that many arteries blocked he is very lucky to be recovering. My mother had 3 and a valve replaced and she was so bad by the time they did it she could barely make it to the bathroom.

Years of bad eating habits causes build up in our arteries and causes blockages when the blood can’t flow thru the arteries it can cause stroke and heart attack,  Start today trying to do better about the things that you eat. sometimes I’m so hungry when I come in at night, I know I shouldn’t eat a whole meal or high grease, high sugar, content food, so I usually will eat small bowl of raisin bran and some water.  only because hunger will wake me up and keep me up. If you have to do it at least make wise decision.

Let us all keep Burt in our prayers, with our prayers and good medical care he could live a good long life. Diabetics be ware, In the times  we live in, we try all kinds of things to lose weight and look for the fountain of youth. the truth is being healthy is the fountain of youth, we don’t appreciate our health until we get sick, We dive into diets that make no sense, you know the ones I mean, A pound of bacon and no vegtables,  How could that even begin to be healthy?  Our creator intended for us to eat a arrangement of things, a well balanced diet of vegtables and grains and fruits.

But is there a  national vegtable and fruit day? It’s no wonder that we are overweight and diabetic, we have a national cupcake day, don’t get me wrong I love cupcakes too, but lets try to have them in moderation. So when you celebrate this new to me holiday, just have one and remember what we eat has to go somewhere, most of the time it’s straight to our thighs and hips. We can’t change our eating habits all at once but part of the time we need to make the right choices. If you don’t know if you are a healthy eater, make a list of what you ate for a day or 2, If when your done your list is a empty calorie or a grease filled fatty food or a sugar filled food, don’t count any of these as good, now did you eat anything that was good for you today.

If you didn’t have one good thing on your list you know your a unhealthy eater, and everyday try to start to have one or 2 healthy  foods, before long you’ll be eating a much heatlthier diet and realize it’s not even that hard. One of my close friends and I were having a break earlier in the week and our employers had given us vegtable and fruit trays for break, It was great!  It brought on a discussion. Why don’t we eat more fruit and vegtables, we love them, and they are so good. In my last article I spoke of our desires and how they lead to unhealthy lives. If you eat alot of fat maybe you should consider trying to limit that behavior. I use the word limit because I know it’s impossible to just stop unhealthy eating habits, Like any habit it’s hard to quit. I bet your wondering what this one is about. it’s about our lives. the things we eat, the enviromental aspects of our lives. We work to hard, exercise very little, eat high fat, sugary foods, Add all that up, what  do you get. A bunch of worn out, overweight, tanked  up on energy drink, diabetics with high cholesterol problems, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. 

It’s up to you, Will you be the victim of your own desires or stop the madness and start turning your  health around. It’s been over a year now since I started northstarhealthsolutions.com and it has been quite a ride. I enjoy writing about my many years of experience being a caregiver, sometimes  life deals us many hard blows.  I write from personal experience and have  tried to share with my readers a great deal of  myself. Being a person who’s mind works in many directions at once, I have realized that I hadn’t really introduced myself formally, and that maybe it’s hard for you to believe in our affiliates wonderful products when you don’t  know the promoter.

I’m Sarah creator northstarhealthsolutions.com, I’m  46 years old,  I love riding my motorcycle in the summer, I love working with my horses,. Here at northstarhealthsolutions.com we try to keep it real, this being said I’d like to share a conversation with a friend. One of my friends recently had a new baby,  even though the baby is now 3 months old, my friend is experiencing sexual problems. She spoke with me about her concerns, My friend is a beautiful  27 year old  girl who before the birth of her child felt very sexual.

She said she felt no yearnings to have sex. She probably is experiencing some postpartum depression, but she is also experiencing what I call, Life. When you get married and have a child your life completely changes,Once all you had to worry about was yourself and what you wanted to do that day.  If you want to know what I mean, remember when you got up and decided what you wanted to do, the world was your oyster, when your parents would say you can be anything you want to be. How long did it take you to realize that only meant before you started living a real life.

When we marry and have children our needs go to the end of the line and sometimes you can’t even see the end of the line. Your time is spent making sure that everything for everyone else is taken care of, then you realize what about what you need, sometimes we forget to eat, choose not to sleep thinking we’ll catch up, when all we really do is make ourselves even more exhausted than we already are. Now, Do you see how life effects your sexuality? Your so tired even your  life sustaining needs are skipped, It’s no wonder that we don’t feel like having sex. So watch the stress, don’t worry about the bills so much and the things you don’t have.

When you get in this position focus on the things you do have and refocus your lifestyle, I call it delegating your stress. Let the husband pick  up something you normally do, teach the children to do things for themselves, Let your nerves settle down and your sexual appetite will return, Take it from someone who knows, Quit trying to burn the candle at both ends to satisfy everyone else, If you don’t the only thing it will get you is a burned out candle. Take care of the important things and leave the rest for another day. a wise lady taught me to love the lord,  take your troubles to him , love your family, and always be a supportive friend, the rest will take care of itself in it’s good time.
